Today was interesting because we went through a lock. I think the trip would have been more interesting overall if our itinerary would have stayed the course. Anyway, we left Hickman, KY this morning and went through the Kentucky Dam Lock before noon. It was similar to a Panama Canal lock, just smaller. It didn't take long to clear the lock at all. The rain arrived and we had that off and on today.

Bingo this afternoon, the captain's farewell, then dinner, and finally the show for the evening. We did have excellent food and service from the staff.

Our suitcases are packed and outside of our door before the 11p appointed time. With just our carry on, we could take it off ourselves. However, we don't know the situation at disembarkation so we will just get out suitcase at the bus in the morning. It will be an early day as we need to be in the Great Saloon by 6:30a. We should be home by this time tomorrow!
