Just 34 days until we embark on our journey to Australia and some interesting parts in between! Today I finally booked our Sydney hotel. We will be staying at the Rendezvous Hotel Sydney, The Rocks. From what I read this should be a good location with interesting things within walking distance. There were less expensive places but of course they are further out than we would choose to be. We will also do the HO-HO bus in Sydney. I know we want to visit the Opera House and Bondi Beach, but we will definitely pass on the climb up Sydney Bridge! A few years ago, that would have been on our list!
For the cruise we have booked several excursions, some with the ship and some with private tour agencies. We don't have anything booked for the Hawai'i ports because we have been to both of them in the past. We might get off and walk around near the ship.
